MAI ARCHITECTS' Collaborates on Design of the 2014 NeoCon Press Room
 

MAI Architects, in collaboration with Archeworks’ alumni and Rod Forslund Interior Design, just completed the design of the 2014 NeoCon Press Room. Inspired by this year’s theme, Place Matters, the design team brought together elements that stimulate social interaction and focused our collective vision on capturing the potential of the places and spaces that shape communities.

KELLIE ALTRUDA Receives the Young Adult Professional of the Year Award
 

The Warsaw Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce awarded Kellie Altruda the Young Adult Professional of the Year Award at the 2014 Chamber Dinner. The YAP Award honors a young adult professional in the county who has demonstrated a commitment to their community to make Warsaw, Indiana a better place to live.  Kellie is being honored for her work with United Way of Kosciusko County, the development of "Habitat Chic" for Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County, Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club, Muscular Dystrophy Association and Imagine Warsaw, a visioning and collaborative workshop with business officials and Ball State University for Warsaw and Kosciusko County.


BRADLEY MALCOLM Joins Habitat for Humanity's Malawi Orphans and Vulnerable Children Project
 

Brad Malcolm has made it a lifelong goal to use his talents and architecture background to give back and help others, a value that is encouraged at MAI Architects. Since homelessness is a worldwide problem, Brad and his wife have joined a team of volunteers to build homes for orphans and vulnerable children in Malawi, Africa taking place this summer.

It is Brad's hope that he can touch someone's life, and they will pass it forward to others. It is his hope to share his experiences that will inspire others to get involved. It is Brad's hope his talents can be applied in numerous ways to build a better tomorrow.
